In monobloc container manufacturing, a coating is applied to
the aluminum container to protect it from the contents it will
eventually enclose. Likewise, the contents must be protected
from the aluminum to prevent contamination.
Nordson systems apply coatings to the entire inside surface
of the monobloc container by lancing the spray nozzle into the
container or positioning the spray nozzle close to the opening
of the container. The container is then rotated as the spray
is applied. Ultimately, the spray process is determined by the
size and shape of the container.
