 Ink-Jet
printers of the LEIBINGER JET2 SE family are known for the highest
flexibility. The range of appli-
cation reaches from egg printing with food grade inks, printing
best before dates on packaging, and marking black cables with
white contrast inks. By the use of solvent-based inks, the print
is smudge-proof after one second on glass, plastic or metal.
Printing is accomplished using Continuous Inkjet technology
for fast, non-contact marking. All possible kinds of surfaces,
in-
cluding round, vaulted, waved, rough or graded can be printed
easily. Very good print quality is also possible when large
throw distance from head to product is required.
Simple operation keeps production running smoothly. The LEIBINGER
JET2 SE machines are operated by a large-surface, background
illuminated Touch-Screen display. Operating is logical and efficient
with easy to follow menus available in many languages. With
the help of the integrated graphic editor, logos or special
characters can be directly designed by the operator.
Starting the printer requires pressing only one button. After
the nozzle seal opens, the LEIBINGER JET2 SE printer is ready
to print within one minute, without flushing processes and cleaning
procedures.
This unique, fast and easy start up method for the Continuous
Ink-Jet printer is guaranteed by the worldwide unique, full
automatic nozzle seal which is standard on every model of the
LEIBINGER JET2 SE series.
Shut-down of the machine happens also by pressing only one button.
The gutter tube closes the nozzle airtight. No drying or clogging
can occur due to the closed ink circuit. The ink can circulate
every day at a pre-programmed time. Even after long-term shut-downs,
drying in the ink supply, nozzle, gutter tube and return line
is prevented. Gone are the days of dry, clogged printers.
The LEIBINGER JET2 SE series meets all demands which are required

Leibinger
JET 2 SE – Printer of many talents.
This printer works with fast drying solvent ink, food grade
inks, color-based inks, slightly pigmented contrast inks and
a variety of special inks. The JET 2 SE prints on almost every
material and surface. Successfully proven in applications
including printing of folded boxes, blister packs, aluminum
foils and extrusions, plastic foils and extruded parts, steel
plate and tubes, automotive parts and food products. Even
brand protection can be done by the use of UV-light ink.
Leibinger JET 2 pro – Water and dust proof.
 This
model works reliably even under rough, dirty, dusty and wet
ambient conditions. The stainless steel cabinet and print
head conform to protection class IP65. The typical applications
of the JET 2 pro are the printing of best before dates on
dairy products, meats and sausages, PET and glass bottles
as well as on cans and beverage products.
Leibinger JET 2 pi – Extreme visibility.
 High
contrast on dark surfaces is possible with pigmented inks.
The JET 2 pi is the specialist in working with these contrast
inks. This printer marks on tubes, cables, electronic parts
and other dark surfaces.
All Leibinger JET 2 SE series printers are equipped with our
exclusive Leibinger nozzle seal system. This technology guarantees
easy start-up by just pressing a button, even after long term
